Begin your tour with a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road, which offers splendid views of the Saronic Gulf, passing through some of Athens’ most beautiful suburbs and idyllic beaches (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza), towards Sounion, the most southern point of Attica.
As you approach Cape SOUNION, one of Greece’s most photographed monuments, it rises like a sheer cliff out of the sea. At Cape Sounio where you will visit the 5th century B.C. TEMPLE of POSEIDON, with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world – on a clear day you can see at least 7 islands!
The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.
Land masses to the west stand out in sharp profile: the island of Aegina backed by the mountains of the Peloponnese. The beauty of the surviving Doric columns has inspired many poets, including Lord Byron, who carved his name on one of the columns. This half-day excursion is a great option if you want to discover Greece beyond Athens, enjoy stunning views and visit world famous Greek ruins.

Cancellation Policy

PEACE OF MIND - FLEXIBLE RESCHEDULING

The Cancellation Policy below is valid for reservations that are made after May 25th 2020.

The payment is REFUNDABLE up to 7 days before the tour departure date. In this case, a small handling fee of 4% of the payment (received until that time) will be kept for covering operational expenses (credit card commission, etc.)
From 6 days up to 3 days before the tour departure date, the cancellation fees will be the 10% of the Total amount (there will be an 90% refund).
From 72 hours up to 24 hours before the tour departure time, the cancellation fees will be the 20% of the Total amount (there will be a 80% refund).
Less than 24 hours before the tour departure time, or in case of non-show, the cancellation fees will be the 100% Total amount (no refund).
In the case of an EMERGENCY, like a serious illness and hospitalization of one of the passengers, the cancellation fees may be reduced or waived (for consideration, the official documents from the hospital will need to be presented).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have developed a Peace of Mind Policy allowing the RESCHEDULING for tours departing from July until December 2020. For these tours, it is possible to reschedule without penalty up to 24 hours before the reserved date and time. It will be possible to reschedule the same tour on any other departure date within 2020 or 2021.
